Celebrating 20 Years of Dedicated Service

June 1, 2026, we honor and celebrate an incredible milestone as we wish a heartfelt farewell and happy retirement to Mrs. Kim. W. Michel, Executive Director for the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors after 20 years of outstanding service.

Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment have made a lasting impact to the funeral industry and the many registered interns, funeral directors, embalmers, and families who you have had the privilege of working with here in our state. Over the past two decades, you have contributed not only your skills and expertise but also your positive attitude, reliability, and unwavering support.

As you begin this exciting new chapter, we thank you for the countless contributions you have made and the legacy you leave behind. While you will be greatly missed, we are excited for all the opportunities, adventures, and well-deserved relaxation that retirement will bring.

Congratulations on an exceptional career and a remarkable achievement. Wishing you good health, happiness, and success in all that lies ahead.
